Our History

Discovery House opened its doors in September 2004, to six children. Four of these were in our toddler transition classroom for 2 to 3 year olds, and two were in our children’s House classroom for 3 to 6 year olds. We were located in a semi detached building on Yinka Bello street in Lekki phase one

The following year, the director realised the children needed to remain in a similar environment for longer to retain the gains of learning the way they did. The school dropped entry level to 18 months and started the training for the elementary program. We opened our elementary program in September 2006 with a lower elementary classroom for 6 to 9 year olds

In September 2007, the school relocated to a new building at Emma Abimbola Street, Lekki Phase 1 and started an infant program for children from 3 months. We added the upper elementary program in September 2009. We moved yet again to Prince Bode Adebowale crescent, Lekki Phase 1 in September 2015.

In September, 2016, the school relocated to her current premises at Michael Olawale Cole Drive, Lekki Phase 1. In July 2012, our very first set graduated from Discovery House to reputable secondary schools. All students were placed and it is a very significant milestone in our history.
